You can now assign Categories to specific Stores, and access them through new in-Store endpoints. Since a Category can reference multiple Stores, you can share a Category tree across Stores and maintain it once, or scope a Category to a single Store to keep it separate.

This feature is available in public beta.

Changes:

[API] Added the stores field to Category and CategoryDraft.
[API] Added the Set Stores, Add Store, and Remove Store update actions to Category API.
[GraphQL API] Added the stores field and storesRef field to the Category type.
[GraphQL API] Added setStores, addStore, and removeStore Category update actions.
[GraphQL API] Added category and categories fields to the InStore type.
