Prerequisites

Before you can use commercetools InStore, you need to complete the following steps:

Install the required InStore components.
Set up and configure a Composable Commerce Project.

Install the required InStore components

Create an integration server

To use InStore, you need a backend for frontend (BFF) integration server that connects to your Composable Commerce Project. We provide a sample of an integration server as a reference to help you model your own.

InStore modules

You can use some or all of the InStore modules, some of which are hosted by commercetools.

InStore Center

To manage devices, users, and settings, use the InStore Center.

Printers

For information about setting up printers, see the InStore Receipt Print Server guide.
