Merchant Center
New feature
Products
The Merchant Center now shows how many fields of a Product and its Product Variants have a value, using a new Filled fields count. Use it to find incomplete Products and gaps left by imports before you publish, and to decide which Products to enrich first, without exporting your catalog.
The Product list has a new Filled fields column. At Product level, it shows the count of filled fields against the total, for example 18/40, for the Product fields and the Master Variant. When you expand a Product, its Product Variants table shows the same column with a count for each Variant. You can show or hide both columns in Table settings and save your preference in a view.
The Product detail and Variant detail pages also show a Filled fields counter in the Page fields section, previously called Filter attribute fields. The counter updates as you edit, before you save. Search and filter by field completion state now also covers the general Product information fields, including Categories, in addition to Attribute fields.

The total is the Product fields plus all Attributes defined on the Product Type, so totals differ between Product Types. Required and optional fields both count, since a field that's optional in commercetools can still be required by your own data standards. A localized field counts as filled when it has a value in at least one locale, and the Product-level count doesn't include the Product's other Variants. Empty rich text doesn't count as filled.
