Sign up for Merchant Center

If you are new to Composable Commerce, then you can try our 60-day trial to explore and understand its features. For more information about getting started with Composable Commerce, see Sign up for Composable Commerce.

To join an existing Organization, do the following:

  1. In the Merchant Center login screen of the respective Region, click Create new account > Create account.
  2. Enter your email address, and then click Confirm email.
  3. Click the sign-up link in your email, enter your details, and then click Create account.

Reach out to your administrator to add you to the respective Organization and Project. Alternatively, if a user from your company has an account and invites you to join, then click the sign-up link in your email. This automatically adds you to the respective Organization and Team.

Sign in with SSO

You can sign in with SSO only if it is enabled and configured for your Organization by your administrator.
  1. In the Merchant Center login page, click Single Sign-On (SSO).
  2. Enter your Organization name, and then click Continue to log in.
    To avoid incorrect entry of the Organization name, you can also log in using the https://mc.{region}.commercetools.com/login/sso/{your-organization-name} shareable URL.
  3. After successful authentication by the Identity Provider, you will be redirected to the Merchant Center.
    When signing in for the first time, a new user account—that uniquely identifies the user—is automatically created.

Your commercetools session will not invalidate when you sign out from the Identity Provider session, as both sessions are independent.

Manage your account

You can manage your account details such as personal information, languages, and time zone at any time in the Merchant Center. To change these details, click the profile icon and then select My Profile.

Reset your password

To reset your password, do the following:

  1. In the Merchant Center login screen of the respective Region, click Forgot password.
  2. Enter your email address, and then click Reset password.
  3. Click the password reset link in your email, enter the new password, and then click Reset and login.

    The password reset link is valid only for one hour.

Receive account emails from commercetools

You will receive confirmation emails when you create an account, reset your password, or are added to an Organization.

If you don't receive any of these confirmation emails, then you should do the following:

Delete your account

After you delete an account, it cannot be recovered.

Only an account owner can delete their account. To delete your account, do the following:

  1. Click the profile icon, and then select My Profile.
  2. Click the Delete my account icon.
  3. Enter your email address, and then click Initiate account deletion.
  4. Click the link in your email, and then click Delete my account.

    The account deletion link is valid only for one hour.
